Introduction to Loom Knitting (ages 18+)
Would you like to try an easy way of knitting sans knitting needles? Try loom knitting! This super fun 2-hour beginner class will introduce a basic cast on, the two most popular stitches in loom knitting, and a bind off for an "in the round" project which you will take with you. All supplies are provided. Instructor Tonya Hodges is excited to share her knowledge with you! She has learned by training herself and is willing to share input not found in books to help with barriers that may arise. She has been loom knitting since 2014 and has started her own business, Learn to Loom Knit, as well.

Maker's Nite-Sola Wood Flower Project (18+)
Learn how to dye and craft with these unique flowers. Sola “Wood” is peeled Cassava root which can be formed in the shape of beautiful flowers and then dyed and added to customized home décor. All supplies included. Come after work, make something fun and new, all supplies included, no experience necessary! Try a different craft without the expense of gathering the materials yourself, meet fellow “Makers” who love the creative process. Lisa Hoyt brings this series back to Green Ridge for a summer of fun on the first Monday of each month, 7-8:30 pm, $21, bring food if desired, disposable apron and gloves provided to protect clothing.

This class will introduce tools, the layer and history palettes and adjustments. Please bring your computer with photoshop loaded. You can download a 7 day free trial at Adobe.com. After that it is 9.99 a month. We will talk about a less expensive option in class. It takes several hours to load so don’t wait until the last day to do it. How to Restore Old Photos with Photoshop (14+)
This class will cover how to restore color and contrast to old photos, correct color shifts, clone tool and content aware to correct cracks and imperfections and how to increase resolution. This class includes 5 high resolution scans of your photographs. You can call to have them done in time to work in on class or bring them to class to have them scanned after class at my studio. Handcoloring Landscapes (Oil Painting on Photos)
Come and learn this antique art form to transform your photographs into yesteryear looking treasures. This class will provide sepia toned prints for you to paint with information on how to make you own prints to paint. Use of paint and supplies is included. Just bring yourself dressed in old clothes or short sleeves and an apron. A handout will be provided so you can review the information later.
