Paint Pouring (Ages 18+)
The newest trend in home painting, where science meets art, is highly addictive! Google it, then save time and money (and mess) by learning with us. All supplies are provided, including a drying box to transport wet paint safely home as well as gloves and disposable apron, but please wear old clothes and shoes. Bring snacks/drinks if desired. Lisa Hoyt is the instructor; she has 20+ years of experience teaching the art of “craft” to students of all ages, and she will email students before class to offer paint color choices.

Polymer Clay (ages 14+)
Make your own jewelry! Learn how to work with this versatile medium to create jewelry and cover the basics for making many more projects. No experience is necessary, items made will go home to be completed in your own oven with complete instructions for safety. Online resources for tutorials will also be shared.
Instructor Lisa Hoyt is a member of IPCA (International Polymer Clay Association). She has taught at Michaels, as well as at after school programs, Scouts, churches and community centers in NH and VA for over 20 years.

Soap Making (ages 18+)
The science of soap! Learn how soap becomes “soap” through the process of saponification and how to use on line calculators to custom create any soap that suits your personal preference! Participants will have hands on practice creating and following a recipe, learn important safety tips and will leave class with at least one pound of “raw” soap to take home to cure the approximate 6-8 weeks necessary. This is a fast paced course designed to give the basics of soapmaking. Please bring an old bath sized towel to insulate soap for the ride home.

Weddings, Showers & Parties Craft Cutting Machine
Use your Silhouette or Cricut craft cutting machine to create invitations, decorations, cake toppers, T shirts, baby onesies and more to save money and perfectly customize your event. Basic knowledge of machine software is helpful, but not required if you are still looking for ideas but not ready to create. Lots of samples, handout of local and online resources will be offered. Do not bring your machine.

Fall Polymer Clay Workshop (ages 18+)
Participants should have basic skill level with polymer clay and be able to work independently while instructor assists other individuals as needed. Bring your own clay and personal tools but will have access to the instructor’s equipment, mica, and supplies. Handouts, tutorials, and light snack provided.
