Do you have a new camera with too many bells and whistles? Find out how to use F stops, shutter speeds, resolution, white balance, exposure modes and more. Be sure to bring your camera and camera manual with you. If you don’t have a manual, you can download and print one online. A handout will be provided so you can review the information later. Loom Knitting Skill Building (ages 18+)
After learning how to "knit in the round" in the Introductory Class take the next step and expand your skills by learning how to knit "flat panel" projects, a variety of cast ons and bind offs and the other 3 types of knit stitches. All supplies are provided. Instructor Tonya Hodges is excited to share her knowledge with you! She has learned by training herself and is willing to share input not found in books to help with barriers that may arise. She has been loom knitting since 2014 and has started her own business, Learn to Loom Knit, as well.

Soap Making (ages 18+)
Learn how soap becomes “soap” through the process of saponification and how to use on line calculators to custom create any soap that suits your personal preference! Participants will have hands on practice creating and following a recipe, learn important safety tips and will leave class with at least one pound of “raw” soap to take home to cure the 6-8 weeks necessary. This is a fast-paced course designed to give the basics of soapmaking. Please bring an old bath sized towel to insulate soap for the ride home. Lisa Hoyt has been teaching soap making for over 20 years.

Paint Pouring-The Next Level (ages 14+)
By student request: This class picks up where Paint Pouring 101 leaves off. Learn different techniques such as swipe, tree ring pour, and more. This class assumes basic knowledge of paint pouring but students do not have to have had 101 class to participate. All supplies are provided, including a drying box to transport wet paint safely home as well as gloves and disposable apron, but please wear old clothes and shoes. Bring snacks/drinks if desired or dinner if coming from work. Lisa Hoyt is the instructor.

Double Crochet Dishcloth Workshop (ages 18+)
Start with an easy dish cloth-beginner friendly! Several workshop dates to choose to learn the basics and get you started on a new hobby! Supplies needed for class (you will be notified when class meets minimum): 6mm hook, 1 ball of cotton yarn per dish cloth. Instructor Krislyn Colombini is a self-taught crocheter that now sells her crochet creations online and in shows. She will help you work through difficult issues in a small class setting.
