You will have the advantage of using the open studio and the guidance of the Monday afternoon monitor in this class. Come learn from your fellow potters. Prerequisite: two or more years in a pottery course at the Brambleton Center. This pottery class is a ten week programs with a monitor in the studio.

Ceramics
Awaken your passion and creativity. Whether you are a beginner or have experience with ceramics, this class is for you. Come learn the skills that make your pieces unique.The class fee includes assistance of certified instructor, Jo Robertson, and firing of your ceramic pieces. Family Pottery
INTRODUCING-The Family Pottery class. Many parents are as interested in pottery as their children. In this class, work side by side with your child, learning how to hand build with clay and work on the potter's wheel. The fee includes one bag of clay, glazes and the use of tools. An adult must register with a child. $100 per person. Eight weeks. Instructor: Rebecca McKeever.

Handbuilding in Clay
Pottery can be created without the use of a potter's wheel. You can create beautiful pots and clay forms by hand using simple tools, slabs of clay, or just by using your hands and fingers. In this class you will explore many techniques for handbuilt pottery. Ten week program.

Next Step
Come dive right in to the clay with us as you use your skills learned in the absolute beginner’s pottery course. You will continue your basic methods for finishing and glazing your pieces. Class fee includes studio time during select times when classes aren't in session and the firing of pieces made during the ten week term. Clay must be purchased through Brambleton Center at $25/25 pounds. Prerequisite: Absolute Beginners Pottery. Instructor: Carlos Dowling.

Pottery Courses
The Brambleton Center offers a well equipped studio to create original works of clay in both wheel and freeform. Equipment includes 13 electric wheels, a slab roller, and an assortment of tools and accessories for shaping and sculpting the clay. A variety of glazes are mixed in the studio offering about 23 colors. Class fee also includes utilizing the studio on your own during select times when classes aren't in session and the firing of pieces made during the 10 week term. Clay must be purchased through Brambleton Center at $25/25 pounds. Saturday will be an open workshop opportunity for those currently registered in a Pottery class. All pottery classes are ten week programs.
