Never Stop Moving
Begin your morning with this low impact fitness class, designed to blend standing and seated exercises to improve endurance, strength and balance. T'ai Chi
Originally developed as a Martial Art for self defense, T’ai Chi is a non-competitive, self-paced system of gentle physical exercise and dynamic stretching. It is sometimes described as ‘Meditation in Motion’ because it promotes serentity through gentle movement; connecting the mind, body, and spirit through as sequence of blissful postures. The class consists of slow intentional movements, incorporating breathing and mindful imagery. Its goal is to relax, strengthen, connect the physical body and mind, enhance the natural flow of Chi (life force), and improve one’s health. Six week program at the Brambleton Center. T'ai Chi-24 Form
An internal martial art that emphasizes breathing and gentle continuous movements to help reduce stress and build strength. Also known for improving balance and joint health by slow, mindful, low-impact movements. Classes will focus on standing meditation, gentle flowing movements (Qigong), balance work, and learning the 24 Form. No extra equipment is needed and all postures and exercises will be done standing. Ten week program. Instructor: TBD.
