In this class we will tackle the elusive Sourdough Bread from beginning your starter to its final completion. We will use the 'Tartine' method for preparing the sourdough bread. This model is based on the cafe of the same name in 'where else' - San Francisco! While our sourdough ferments you will learn the art of the French baguette. Instructor: Loni Bier.

Spice up your cooking this winter! December will feature Malai Murg (chicken cooked in cream), Puri (fried bread) and Kaala Chana Masaala (black chickpeas cooked in spices). January is Sinvai (vermicelli pudding), Chola (chickpeas cooked in a yogurt-base sauce) and Bhatura (special fried bread). February will comfort you up with Chicken Makhni (chicken cooked in a buttery sauce), Matar ki Ghugni (pea preparation) and Ras Malai (creamy milk ball dessert). Instructor: Bhawana Scaer.

In an effort to rid you of your fear of working with yeast, we will prepare three separate ways of preparing yeast projects during the course of this class. We will bake honey-butter dinner rolls, whole wheat bread (perfect for sandwiches and picnics) and, finally, over-night cinnamon buns. By the end of the class, you will feel confident to tackle all those yeast recipes you have been yearning to try and you’ll take home delicious bread to share with friends and family!
