Absolute Beginners Pottery
Our beginners course is great for anyone who wants to dive right into clay. Experienced instructors will guide you through the process of creating pottery on and off the potter's wheel. You will also learn basic methods for finishing and glazing your pieces. Class fee includes studio time during select times when classes aren't in session and the firing of pieces made during the eight week term. Clay must be purchased through Brambleton Center at $25/25 pounds.

Working in acrylics allows for maximum flexibility in color, ideas and techniques. This medium can be used like watercolor or oils. Acrylic paint drys quickly and when dry is permanent. Beginner Obedience & Good Manners (ages 18+)
Want a dog who listens better? In this basic training course, dog parents will learn how to best communicate with their dogs in order to teach them good manners. Positive reinforcement training methods are used to teach the following behaviors: touch, look, sit, down, stand, come, settle, wait, take it, loose-leash walking, plus more. Pottery Courses
The Brambleton Center offers a well equipped studio to create original works of clay in both wheel and freeform. Equipment includes 13 electric wheels, a slab roller, and an assortment of tools and accessories for shaping and sculpting the clay. A variety of glazes are mixed in the studio offering about 23 colors. Class fee also includes utilizing the studio on your own during select times when classes aren't in session and the firing of pieces made during the 10 week term. Clay must be purchased through Brambleton Center at $25/25 pounds. Saturday will be an open workshop opportunity for those currently registered in a Pottery class. All pottery classes are ten week programs.

The science of soap! Learn how soap becomes “soap” through the process of saponification and how to use on line calculators to custom create any soap that suits your personal preference!
